      Summary

Veleda IV is an excellent cruising vessel allowing us to enjoy full time liveaboard cruising for 20 years. It has taken us through all the Great Lakes, down the Mississppi River and across the Atlantic to Northern Europe and through the rivers of France to the Mediterranean and the Black Sea before returning across the Atlantic via the Canaries and Cape Verde Islands to spend several years in the Caribbean. It has safely taken my wife and me down the entire eastern and western seaboards, from Newfoundland to Honduras and from Glacier Bay in Alaska down to Costa Rica. Articles with Veleda have been written up in GAM and Good Old Boat, presentations have been made at the Toronto and Vancouver International Boat Shows, and the owner has written over 500 logs of our travels in her, several of which have been published in sailing magazines.
However my wife wants to settle down up here in Northern Ontario, so our offshore passage making days are over. We wanted to bring Veleda back to Lake Huron into the North Channel Yacht Club, as we now live in Elliot Lake. With this plan we sailed up to Puerto Penasco, Mexico on the northern tip of the Sea of Cortez with the intent of shipping it to Chicago and then sailing it up to Lake Huron to enjoy it closer to home. However it is still on the hard awaiting borders to be opened. Thus if we could sell it where it is in Mexico, we would do so and buy another boat for up here. Such would also save us the shipping expense. Thus it is for sale in Mexico. If we bring it up here we will take it off the market.

Price $20,000 US or $22,000 Cdn for private purchase in Puerto Penasco, Mexico
